He has over 8 years’ experience in advising clients ranging from SMEs to FTSE 100.

Zeeshan has worked on large global projects to deliver significant duty savings whilst ensuring compliance with customs legislation.

He advises on customs duty management and mitigation strategies by guiding clients on the use of duty relief schemes such as inward/outward processing, customs warehousing, end use and tariff suspensions amongst others.

He has also helped clients with developing internal controls and processes, challenging HMRC decisions, reclaiming duty, export controls, sanctions, import VAT and EU fiscal representation.

• Part of the team that successfully defended the joint test case of Terex Equipment Ltd (C-430/08), FG Wilson (Engineering) Ltd and Caterpillar EPG Ltd (C-431/08) v The Commissioners for Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs referred to the ECJ by the VAT and Duties Tribunal.
