We are always looking for talented and experienced business professionals. If you have in excess of twenty years board level experience, specific vertical or general business experience, and are widely respected and connected within your sector, and can display a reference-able track record with first rate communication skills and are able to rapidly engage and build relations, analyse challenges and provide solutions within a professional and monitored framework of engagement then gunnercooke may be for you.

Application and Selection

Stage 1

Our selection process commences with a written application and CV, followed by an online interview prior to meeting with one of our Partners.

Stage 2

Subsequent to this, potential Operating Partners will be required to supply a detailed skills and experience inventory and must be able to support with appropriate documentation where necessary.

Stage 3

At this stage, successful candidates will be requested to provide references and will be invited to spend a day working with one of our Operating Partners prior to the final interview.

Stage 4

You will meet with two members of our steering group and the appropriate Partner for your practice area.

Stage 5

If accepted, you will then commence our induction and activation programme.

Our induction and activation programme begins with a two-day introduction to the gunnercooke business, from the use of technology and our code of conduct to the utilisation of our library of tools and documentation. This will be followed by the construction of a business plan that fits your aspirations of workload and income.


The managing Operating Partner will work with the new Operating Partner in the creation and securing of a pipeline of opportunities derived through the extensive gunnercooke network in addition to existing and new outreaches from the new Operating Partners own network. The operating partner through both internal and external events will have the opportunity to market their own experience and skill set to Operating partners and lawyers.


Operating Partners work within a framework of continuous improvement and review to ensure we deliver above expectations in all the roles and assignments that we undertake.
